International Seminar on Moving Historical AircraftOn December 4th, 2019 the Aviation Museum Society (Finland) has reached its 50th year. In celebration of this milestone, the Society arranges an International Seminar on Moving Historical Aircraft in collaboration with the Finnish Aviation Museum. With this event, the Society aims to provide aviation museums a forum for international exchange of experiences and solutions on how to safely move historically significant aircraft both “in-house” as well as between sites. Please make sure, that you have fully completed the form. Registrations should be made no later than November 22nd, 2019. AccommodationUnfortunately, the Aviation Museum Society (Finland) is not able to cover the accommodation costs of invited speakers or participants. How to get to the Finnish Aviation MuseumThe Finnish Aviation museum can be easily reached by train from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport as well as from the Helsinki Central Railway Station and the Tikkurila railway station. The destination station by rail is the Aviapolis railway station from where it is a ca. 100 meters walk to the Museum. If you come by bus, the closest stop is Aviapolis ca. 100 meters from the Museum. There is ample free parking-space at the Museum, so you can also arrive by car. Seminar feeThere is a Seminar fee of 50 € per person (no VAT included or added), and participation in the Seminar is by advance registration only. The fee includes participation in the Seminar and breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee. Beverages/BarNon-alcoholic beverages are included in the lunch. If alcoholic beverages are preferred, they can be bought at the bar. The bar is open during all breaks. Cancelling a reservationYou may cancel your reservation without any costs until November 15th, 2019 at tilaukset@imy.fi. Changes of Seminar speakers are possible and when needed, will be announced as soon as possible after being brought to our attention. Such changes do not form any basis for return or reduction of any part of the Seminar fees. |
